Runs Itself is a business name registered in Australia.
What we collect
- When you send the enquiry form. We receive what you type: your name, business name, email, mobile and your note. The form passes them to the service that sends us your enquiry.
- When you book a call. You book by email for now. If we add an online booking page, this page will be updated before it goes live.
- When you use the assistant. The messages you type are sent to an AI service to write the reply. See the next section.
- When you visit. Our web host keeps standard visit logs, such as the time and the page requested. We don't use advertising trackers or tracking cookies on this site.
The website assistant
The assistant is an AI. It is not a person and it can get things wrong.
Your messages are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes the AI model, to produce a reply. Anthropic processes them on servers outside Australia.
Our own code does not save the text of your chat. Anthropic and Cloudflare handle your messages to deliver the reply, and they keep records under their own terms.
To stop misuse we keep two counters: how many messages came from a scrambled version of your network address in the past hour, and the running cost of the assistant for the month. Neither counter contains what you typed.
Please don't type passwords, card numbers, health details or anything else you would not put in an email.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to hold a call you asked for, and to keep the website working. We don't sell your details and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who else handles it
- Microsoft, for email.
- Resend, which emails the enquiry form to us.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
- Anthropic, for the assistant.
Some of these services store information outside Australia.

Email hello@runsitself.com.au and tell us what you want. We'll act on it within 30 days.
